Saw this image from a company that sells this wall-mounted arcade cabinet for 40,000 SEK — completely insane! But it inspired me. But what if you could build it yourself? What if you could have a fold-out TV that also works as a pinball machine?
So I made this sketch and it feels very doable. And the fun thing is that I already have most of the hardware needed. I have a MiSTer for the arcade part, a 4K TV leftover for the pinball screen, etc etc. Still not an easy build, but not more complicated than my gaming table.
And in theory, the computer screen could be used as a painting when it’s not used for games, for example. Inside the cabinet there would then be a KVM switch, a Raspberry Pi for the “painting” function, a small gaming PC for Virtual Pinball as well as MiSTer for arcade games. And then maybe also a dock for a Steam Deck or Nintendo Switch?
